Production of Wile moisture meters started in Finland in 1964. At that time the meters were produced by Optillinen tehdas Oy. A couple of decades later, in 1986 the newly founded Farmcomp Oy became the new home for Wile, after having purchased it from Optillinen tehdas Oy.
Today, Wile moisture meters are still produced and maintained by Farmcomp in Finland – taking advantage of many decades of experience and skills. We also ensure that spare parts for models that are no longer produced, are available for years.
Farmcomp Oy develops, manufactures, and markets various agricultural electronics products. Farmcomp’s main products include Olli fence energisers and fencing accessories, as well as portable Wile moisture meters for farming needs. Most of the annual production is exported. The company’s products are sold all over the world.
