Wile Connect App – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Wile Connect mobile application (“App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Farmcomp Oy develops agricultural and environmental measurement solutions and provides the App to enhance the functionality of our devices and services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your country).
  • You have the legal authority to accept these Terms.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App.

3. User Accounts

  • To access certain features, you may need to create an account and provide accurate personal information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to notify Farmcomp immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Farmcomp reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt Farmcomp systems or other users’ accounts.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, distribute, or modify the App without written permission from Farmcomp.
  • Use the App to transmit harmful or illegal content.

5. Device Connectivity

  • The App may connect with Farmcomp hardware devices to collect and display measurements.
  • You are responsible for the proper use of both the App and the connected devices.
  • Farmcomp does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity or accuracy under all conditions.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, features, software, trademarks, and logos in the App are the property of Farmcomp Oy or its licensors.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written consent.

7. Privacy and Data Collection

  • Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store your personal data.
  • By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • Farmcomp is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including errors, data loss, or device malfunctions.
  • Farmcomp does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App at all times.

9. Updates and Modifications

  • Farmcomp may update the App or these Terms at any time.
  • Updated Terms will be posted within the App and will take effect immediately upon posting.
  • Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

  • Farmcomp may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms or for any reason permitted by law.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the App will end, but Farmcomp may retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
  • Any disputes arising from the App or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Finnish courts.
